  • BCCK Introduces its NiTech® Ultra Low Methane Enhancement Providing an Ultra-clean Nitrogen Vent Stream Solution for Reducing Greenhouse Gas Emissions

BCCK, a leader in engineering, procurement, fabrication and field construction services, has unveiled the NiTech® Ultra Low Methane (ULM), an enhanced nitrogen rejection unit (NRU) delivering unparalleled results in efficiency and emissions control for natural gas processing facilities.

Uniquely positioned to address the latest proposed Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations that will result in extensive waste emission charges, the patent-pending NiTech® ULM is engineered to provide an ultra-clean vent stream with reduced methane content as low as 10 ppmv.

Greg Hall, executive vice president, BCCK, said, “We’re proud to introduce the NiTech® ULM, which is setting a new standard for ultra-clean overhead vent streams in natural gas processing. This new design underscores our commitment to reducing our environmental footprint and helping operators achieve their emissions reduction goals.”

The NiTech® ULM is available for new facilities and can also be retrofitted to existing NiTech® units, utilizing BCCK’s industry leading NRU technology.

  • Gas Processing and NRU Solutions Help Landfills Say Farewell to Flaring

BCCK Partners with Archaea Energy to Develop the World’s Largest High-BTU Landfill Gas-to-energy Plant

BCCK Holding Company (BCCK), an engineering, procurement, fabrication, and field construction services company, will provide Archaea Energy, a developer of renewable natural gas resources, with a 13,700-scfm (388-m3/min.) Style IV NiTech® Nitrogen Rejection Unit (NRU). In addition to the NRU, BCCK is providing Archaea with oxygen and carbon dioxide (CO2) removal systems and residue compression that will be integrated with the remainder of the gas plant being provided by Archaea Energy. BCCK’s NRU and associated equipment will operate at Archaea’s Assai facility located at the Keystone Sanitary landfill in Dunmore, Pennsylvania. With natural gas production of 12,000 MMBtu/d, the Assai project is expected to be the largest high-Btu landfill gas (LFG)-to-energy plant in the world.
