BCCK Holding Company (BCCK), a leader in engineering, procurement, fabrication and field construction services, has appointed Fraser McDowell as director of strategy and business development (renewables).

McDowell will be located in BCCK’s office in The Woodlands, Texas and will be responsible for expanding BCCK’s business portfolio in the growing renewables and clean energy markets, including LNG, identifying profitable growth opportunities in support of the energy transition with a focus on technology. McDowell has held several executive leadership roles in the last 20 years, including global vice president for Weatherford International’s pipeline and specialty services group and, most recently, vice president business development for energy with Chart Industries.

Kevin Blount, CEO, BCCK, said, “With more than 30 years of oil and gas experience and with proven expertise in identifying, developing and implementing strategies that deliver operational and financial results, Fraser is the natural choice for this role. His outstanding ability to effectively identify opportunities and provide cost-effective solutions will be of huge value to BCCK and our clients.”

McDowell commented, “I look forward to enhancing BCCK’s position in support of the energy transition, utilizing BCCK’s pedigree in technology development and its self-perform EPC model to deliver solutions in the renewables and LNG space alongside its traditional oil and gas business. Cross-functional efforts across sales and marketing, technology, engineering and finance will be vital in our strategic roadmap for growth, and I look forward to playing an active role in that growth.”

McDowell holds degrees in mechanical engineering and business management from Abertay University, UK and Robert Gordon University, UK, respectively.
