With applications in operation across the United States, Nitech™ nitrogen rejection has proven itself as the smart way to tap into nitrogen-rich reserves that were previously considered economically unfeasible. Nitrogen removal with the conventional Nitech™ process is profitable for reserves with flow rates as low as 3 MMSCFD.  And recently, BCCK engineers introduced a technology breakthrough. Now producers can enjoy the same Nitech™ advantages for applications in which the inlet gas flow is 250 MMSCFD or higher. 

 

In addition to natural gas purification, the Nitech process is ideal for use in reducing subsurface coal mine methane which improves mine safety.  The ability to convert vented methane at the surface mitigates the environmental impact and improves the bottom line of the coal mine methane producer.
