BCCK Partners with Vision RNG to Pave Pathway to Carbon Neutrality in Ohio Landfills

BCCK, a leader in engineering, procurement, fabrication and field construction services, announces a strategic partnership with Vision RNG, a full-service developer of landfill gas (LFG) infrastructure, to deliver its NiTech® Single Tower Nitrogen Rejection Units (NRU) and amine systems to Vision RNG’s LFG worksites in Ohio.

Under the agreement, BCCK will provide two NiTech® Single Tower NRUs and amine systems to two landfill gas processing sites — one in Seneca County, Ohio,  and one in Perry County Ohio. Both sites are owned by WIN Waste Innovations, the sustainable waste services and disposal provider that has contracted Vision RNG to develop gas conversion capabilities at both sites.

Fraser McDowell, director of strategy and business development (renewables), BCCK, said, “BCCK is proud to partner with Vision RNG to aid their efforts in reducing environmental impact by providing clean, sustainable energy for today’s customers. Our NiTech® technology provides best-in-class methane recovery that yields improved revenue streams while reducing greenhouse gas emissions.”

BCCK’s exclusive NiTech® NRU technology is engineered to deliver optimal methane recovery while minimizing the environmental impact. The proprietary cryogenic technology features a flexible design with minimal equipment and requires low power consumption, making it an ideal pairing for Vision RNG’s projects.

Bill Johnson, chief executive officer, Vision RNG, said, “Partnering with BCCK was a natural choice for us on these projects given their proven track record in larger scale NRU technology. Their commitment to sustainability aligns with our mission of driving positive change in the renewable energy sector. Together, we are ready to set new benchmarks for greenhouse gas reduction and sustainable energy production.”

BCCK Awarded NiTech® Dual Tower NRU Project in West Texas, Highlights Longstanding Customer Partnership

BCCK, a leader in engineering, procurement, fabrication and field construction services, announces another award of a NiTech® Dual Tower Nitrogen Rejection Unit (NRU) to be located in West Texas.

Greg Hall, executive vice president, BCCK, said, “BCCK’s NiTech® NRU technology is our bread and butter.  We have unrivaled experience with relatively low inlet nitrogen projects that have “just enough” nitrogen to be considered off-spec. We are seeing more and more operators facing this challenge, a challenge BCCK has met with a simple solution numerous times.”

In addition to BCCK’s continuous innovation and dedication to sustainability, the award of this NiTech® Style Dual Tower NRU marks yet another milestone in the company’s longstanding relationship with a repeat customer. This project underscores the trust and confidence that clients place in BCCK’s expertise and ability to consistently deliver exceptional results.

Amy Ontiveroz, director of project management, BCCK, said, “Project transparency coupled with a steadfast commitment to customer service is the cornerstone of successful projects as well as fostering repeat customers. Working with a repeat customer is a testament to BCCK’s proven technology and the quality and performance we deliver with every project.”

BCCK’s NiTech® NRU process, refined over more than 30 years, has empowered customers to effortlessly achieve their product specifications. Known for its environmentally friendly design, this technology ensures efficiency and cost savings through a smaller footprint and minimal operator attention.

BCCK’s Nitech® Nitrogen Recovery Unit Features Environmentally Friendly Design For Reduced Emissions In Permian Basin

BCCK, a leader in engineering, procurement, fabrication and field construction services, has announced the receipt of an award of a NiTech® Style IV nitrogen rejection unit (NRU) in the Permian Basin.

The NRU will be designed to extract nitrogen from 125 MMSCFD residue gas from cryogenic gas processing facilities. The NRU incorporates BCCK’s latest Style IV NiTech® NRU technology in a modular skidded design that can handle compositional or flow capacity changes. BCCK’s design is a simple, non-complex process design which requires minimal operator attention.

Drew Schiller, director of business development gas processing, BCCK, said, “We are happy to be supporting another great client with a BCCK NiTech® NRU in the Permian Basin. Our advanced nitrogen rejection technology paves the way to a less complex, more reliable and lower-cost design.”

Schiller added, “With the tightening of pipeline specifications due to the increasing global demand for liquefied natural gas (LNG), the NRU utilizes BCCK’s patented NiTech® technology that employs a traditional cryogenic distillation process with no cryogenic rotating equipment to reduce nitrogen in gas.”

As a complete solutions provider, BCCK’s NRU technology has also played a direct role in the drive for renewable energy solutions. With a smaller footprint, the unique design lowers greenhouse gas emissions for landfill gas projects and requires minimal operator attention.
