Project Description
In 1999, a small, independent oil and gas investment company purchased the Pretty Water Gas field and associated wells located approximately 20 miles south of Rock Springs, Wyoming. The three wells previously had been produced for the heavy-end hydrocarbons found in the gas stream; however, due to the high nitrogen content of the gas, no gas had ever been sold from the wells.
As a result of BCCK’s work, the facility now includes equipment for condensate recovery, NGL separation, CO2 and H2S extraction, dehydration, acid gas injection and associated compression.
A significant amount of helium is also present in the inlet gas. With the addition of minimal equipment, helium could be recovered and sold as an additional product.
