COAL MINE METHANE PROJECT PROFILE, MARION, IL
Project Description
BCCK was contracted to install a 12 MMSCFD Nitech™ NRU to process coal mine methane reserves located near Marion, Illinois. The project included H2S removal, oxygen removal, inlet gas dehydration, CO2 extraction and nitrogen rejection. Unlike CMM enrichment facilities previously installed by BCCK, this facility was placed on an abandoned coal mine where active mining had ceased several years earlier.
