PROJECT DESCRIPTION
BCCK was selected for this Wyoming project, which is
one of the world’s largest CO2 extraction and
sequestration projects, due to our ability to deliver
world-class gas treating and processing solutions.
BCCK’s technology provided a solution that cleared
economic hurdles of the project while also meeting
the environmental requirements.
This Wyoming gas project is a carbon dioxide
extraction facility that utilizes a BCCK designed
fractionation and methanol process for a high carbon
dioxide stream. The facility will provide liquid carbon
dioxide for re-injection, thus reducing required
injection horsepower, as well as crude grade helium
and pipeline quality natural gas. BCCK’s scope
includes a 50 MMSCFD Nitech™ NRU, BCCK’s
proprietary helium recovery process, propane
refrigeration, compression, skid fabrication,
transpor tation, installation, DCS control system, and
star t-up assistance. Field construction began in late
2009 and is being conducted in strict compliance
with regulations established by federal, state and
local agencies. Star t-up is set for Fall 2011.
